Community Food Share

Step up to the challenge

With so much sunshine, it’s easy to forget that 1 in 8 Boulder County citizens lives in poverty and needs food assistance. Since 1981, Community Food Share has been here to sustain kids, families and seniors through difficult times with healthy food.

Right now, CFS is running a major corporate campaign to raise money, restock its shelves, and remind the community that hunger doesn’t vanish in warm weather. Twenty Boulder County corporations have signed on to “Compete to Beat Hunger,” which runs through May 22.

RE/MAX of Boulder is making it easy for Realtors, staff, clients, affiliates and partners to participate and make a difference. Our goals? 1,000 pounds of food, $5,000, and 100% participation by all agents and staff.

“We are excited to be jumping into this challenge in a big way,” says Lisa Wade, a RE/MAX of Boulder Realtor who is leading our campaign along with marketing team members Tyler Dock and Katie Blackwell. “We’re pushing for 100% participation from our team, which inspires others within the RE/MAX of Boulder network to give too.”

Any donation to CFS is a high value proposition. The organization can provide 4 meals for every $1 raised.
