Thanks Boulder High |
Every October, the Boulder High School drama department produces an über creative and super scary Haunted House for teens and others seeking spine-chilling entertainment. This year’s production is called The Nightmare Next Door, and it’s been horrifying horror fans all this month on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Nightmare Next Door is so scary, my plucky 15-year-old won’t even go. My 12-year-old, who has been begging to go since he was 8, finally got his wish this year. He emerged ecstatic and wide eyed, but didn’t sleep much that night.
IF YOU HAVE YOUNGER KIDS, tomorrow only (Saturday, Oct 25), BHS drama students will turn their production inside out to give little Boulderites a friendlier haunted house experience. Bring youngsters to the school at 1604 Arapahoe Ave. from 1 – 4 p.m. The lights will be turned up and costumes toned down, but your kids are bound to have fun – and will love telling how they went to the Boulder High School Haunted House this year.
HORROR FANS, your remaining chances to experience the show are tonight and tomorrow night (Oct 25 and 26) and Halloween night (Oct. 31), 7 – 10 p.m. Muhuhahahaha.
