Check out BMOCA’s Art Stop at the Boulder Farmer’s Market
It’s meant to be really chilly this weekend, and if you have kids you know that their energy doesn’t fall with the thermostat.
Don’t panic. Rain or shine, the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art hosts excellent, collaborative art making activities for families every Saturday during the downtown Boulder Farmer’s Market (through November 20). The popular program is called Art Stop.
When it’s warm, you can create art at the big table on BMOCA’s front porch. Cold and wet? The whole operation moves inside. The thoughtful and creative hands-on projects are fun for young and old, and complement the museum’s current exhibitions (read the latest here).
So this Saturday, plan accordingly: cartoons, cereal and then it’s off to the Farmer’s Market for fresh fall veggies and some good family fun at BMOCA’s Art Stop.
