Get your gear on (and off) |
We certainly love our outdoor gear around here, but it often presents a two-sided conundrum: on the one hand, we covet brand spanking new stuff but can’t afford it. On the other hand, our garages and basements are stuffed with stuff we don’t use much anymore.
The Wildnerness Exchange offers a brilliant solution to both problems with its Fall Gear Swap this Saturday, October 12.
Got gear? Sellers can set up to sell goods between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the big parking lot right behind the shop (tables are available on a first-come basis).
Want gear? At 10 a.m., the swap will officially open to all, with sales running through 4 p.m.
Don’t miss it. Many local sales reps will be there selling samples and demos. Attendees are responsible for all payments, transactions and pricing.
The no-commission, no-fee, open-to-the-public swap is generously hosted by The Wilderness Exchange Unlimited, an independently owned business that buys and sells equipment used in outdoor pursuits such as climbing, backpacking, mountaineering, camping, backcountry skiing and snow travel.
