This Week at the Dairy


The Aliens continues its popular run in the Carsen Theater at The Dairy Center for the Arts. Unlikely mentors and the boy they befriend are the subject of playwright Annie Baker’s simple, compassionate observations of life between the lines, and greatness found in the most unlikely of places. February 6th the Dairy’s Performance Space Theater is the place to be as Boulder Bach Festival’s Zachary Carrettin introduces his Electric Compass Series.  Plugged into The Dairy’s reverberant sound system, Carrettin performs Bach’s improvisational cello suites, as one reviewer described it, “As if in a world of a dream.”  Be part of a rapidly growing fan base of this world-class violinist. For those who enjoy dance, The Dairy has that this week-end as well. BRIAH Danse performs February 7th and 8th in a fusion of classical and contemporary ballet with modern dance. This new dance performance company is dedicated to collaborating with visual and performance artists in music, visual, and dramatic arts. This is a performance unlike any you’ve seen before.
