Ingenuity radiates outwards from Boulder Digital Arts (BDA), the central resource for Boulder’s creative professionals and beginners.
When Bruce Borowsky, an award-winning filmmaker, and Zach Daudert, a long-time web developer, started Boulder Digital Arts back in 2004, they were simply hoping to give their friends and colleagues a resource where they could get help keeping up with ever-changing digital technology. They never thought it would grow into an organization offering over 300 events a year as well as having a 6,000 square foot space.
For over 11 years, BDA has offered professional, yet affordable, training across the expansive spectrum of creative digital arts including web design, digital marketing, video production, photography, and much more. Their classes are specifically designed for people with very little time in their schedules. Most classes and workshops are held during single day or on one evening, and are carefully designed to teach you practical skills. You can go home and begin using your new tools right away.
In addition to offering high quality training to people that are just starting out as well as for people who are full-time creative digital professionals, BDA also has a gorgeous co-working space, offering entrepreneurs and freelancers their choice of a private office, or a permanent desk in a shared, collaborative, creative space — much better than working at home, or in a noisy coffee shop!
