36 Commuting Solutions is working with the Regional Transportation District (RTD) to build momentum for the staged opening of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) along US 36 and will be sending out details in later newsletters.
In the meantime, thanks to those who provided comment to RTD regarding US 36 BRT proposed fares and bus operating plan through RTD’s public comment period. 36 Commuting Solutions appreciates the feedback that members of the public provided, as well as RTD, about these important aspects of US 36 BRT service.
As RTD is reviewing how to improve bus service to many parts of the corridor, 36 Commuting Solutions continues to work with corridor stakeholders to encourage RTD to consider increased funding for the opening day US 36 BRT service plan.
There is still time to provide comment on the US 36 BRT service plan; comments are due May 1, 2015. Members of the public can submit comments via fax to 303-299-2227 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
