An exhibition showcasing what’s newest and next in fiber art will open at the Dairy Arts Center August 25 and will remain on view through October 22. Titled 75, the exhibition celebrates the work of Judith Trager and 45 invited international artists.
This large exhibition will take over all four of our gallery spaces resulting in an exciting and comprehensive celebration of contemporary 2-D and 3-D fiber works. A special section of the exhibition will feature the work of Judith Trager herself.
With works by 45 diverse fiber artists from thirteen different states and six countries, this exhibition has attracted national attention. These are works that have never been on exhibit before and will never be seen in a single exhibition again. We’re excited to give Boulder this unique opportunity.
As always, all of our gallery spaces are FREE anytime during regular Dairy Arts Center hours.
September 7 Kicks Off Our Innovative
CU At The Dairy Concert Series
This innovative new series in collaboration with CU Boulder’s College of Music kicks off with a sublime evening that features internationally renowned pianist David Korevaar performing Mozart Piano Concertos 14 and 15.
Violinist and Professor Charles Wetherbee will lead the dynamic orchestra comprised of CU faculty, graduates and alumni, as Korevaar conducts from the keyboard! Adding a unique viewing angle to the performance, audience members will have an eagle-eye shot of the piano without its lid as it’s nestled in the center of the orchestra – a rare viewpoint for classical concert goers in Boulder!
