Wine Wednesday at Jax Fish House

October 5, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

On the first Wednesday of every month, chefs Sam Parrett and Rob Monahan will prepare a specially coursed dinner to pair with a select wine from Jax’s cellar. Each month will feature different wines from the world’s most celebrated wine regions, complemented by sustainably-sourced delicacies from both the land and the sea. The wine from each dinner will then be available all month long, and bottles will be available at 50% off every Wednesday night. The dinners are by reservation only.

The next wine dinner, coming up on Wednesday, October 5, will feature the following specials from the kitchen, each paired with a select wine from the Jax cellar:

 

Amuse:

Sex on the Bay Oyster

cucumber water, apple caviar

 

First:

Soft Cooked Crispy Egg

creme fraiche, Russian rye bread, chanterelle mushrooms, thyme, caviar

 

Second:

Applewood Chicken Dumplings

matsutake broth, cracklings

 

Third:

Boulder Lamb Lollipop

sweet potato, plums, seduction gremolata, cumin honey glaze, rosemary
