Celebrating Architecture Month

15th Street Design District

“To create, one must first question everything.” — Eileen Gray

Usually, you know you’re in Boulder’s one and only Design District by the colorful banners on the light posts and inspired quotes etched in the concrete along 15th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe.

On Friday, April 29, you’ll recognize the Design District by the lively street party in full swing 5-8 p.m. That’s when the wonderful collection of design firms with offices along 15th between Arapahoe and Canyon will host the District Crawl in celebration of Architecture Month.

Be sure to stop by for family-friendly fun and take a peek inside the open doors of participating firms. Please RSVP at 15SDD.com.

Special hint: Workshop8 will have their life-size Everblocks available for guests to build almost anything with. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about the firm’s shaping our community, workspaces and homes.

Here is a brief synopsis of five of the Design District firms. Stay tuned for more in the next few days. And be sure to read our previous posts Embracing the Western Spirit in a Modern Age, and Boulder’s 15th Street Design District.
