Sweet Taste of Longmont

Annual foodie fest supports a stronger, safer community

The Inn Between’s Sweet Taste of Longmont returns for its seventh year to raise funds for neighbors facing homelessness.

This is one party that will appeal to your inner foodie. That it also  appeals to your good nature is icing on the cake.

The Inn Between’s signature fundraising event is a fun-filled evening of dessert tasting, live entertainment, auctions, mystery door prizes, appetizers and more.

The Inn Between is a 20-year-old organization that partners with local agencies to methodically move large numbers of displaced people into safe housing, and then to provide the case management they need to ultimately live independently. The Inn’s Self-Sufficiency program focuses on empowering individuals with time-limited affordable housing, comprehensive case management, life skills and financial literacy training. Some of Longmont’s best restaurants will provide desserts and cuisine for your tasting pleasure. Look for live chef presentations by Aimes Love, La Bella Vita, Tout Sweet Moose, Above & Beyond Vegan, Rosario’s and others. Every ticket purchase gives you the chance to win a mystery door prize – either an Apple I Pad by Richard Darrow, or a signature jewelry set from Snyder Jewelers. Auction prizes include exclusive trips to Puerto Vallarta from Bedrock Marble and Granite, Cancun from Ziga International, Ireland from OJ Pratt and Southwest Airlines, specialty-signature prizes from Macy’s 29th Street, Woodley’s Fine Furniture, and from local businesses, restaurants and others.

The 7th Annual Sweet Taste of Longmont is Saturday, September 27, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., at the Pacific Event Center in Longmont. For tickets and event details visit www.innbetween.org or call 303-684-0810. Each ticket purchase includes a Raffle for a Mystery Door Prize.
