The Buffs snapped their 14-game losing streak in the Pac-12 Conference on a cold evening in Boulder.
Just their fourth win over a Pac-12 opponent since they joined the conference prior to the 2011 season came two years after the Buffs earned their first victory in the conference over Arizona.
CU was lead by a stout defensive effort and once again, Paul Richardson, who had a memorable game against the Bears. Though it wasn’t the highlight-reel performance w’re used to P-Rich providing, Richardson set a new single-season school record for receiving yards while tying his school record for receptions in a game and moved into fourth place on the career receptions list. For the season, Richardson has totaled 1,201 receiving yards, surpassing the old single-season record of 1,149 yards set by Charles E. Johnson in 1992.
