If you enjoy dance, you’re going to love the next six weeks at The Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder. From unusual and contemporary to traditional and ballet, there’s something for every taste in dance.
January 23 & 24 – Salon Romantik: CREATION (re-creation)
Control Group Productions presents a delicate, deeply unusual meditation on the act of creation – as an artistic endeavor, a biological drive, a functional necessity, an uncomfortable imposition.
Culminating Control Group’s ‘Salon’ work series, CREATION (re-creation) emerges from the circuitous journey of a four-year research process. An amalgamation of new and previously used materials, the event brings to life a collection of carefully crafted objects and actions and releases them to create their own momentary, surpassingly strange world.
