Settembre Cellars winery in north Boulder is offering two fun, unique ways to escape the chilly weather.
During Tasting Room open hours, Thursday to Sunday 1:00 – 6:00 pm, they invite guests to have an urban picnic by bringing food to enjoy at one of their tables, along with a glass or flight of Settembre’s wines. They’re also hosting adult coloring sessions every Sunday afternoon from 1:00 – 6:00 pm.
“The adult coloring book trend has exploded in recent months, and our Sunday afternoon coloring sessions have already been extremely successful,” said owner Tracy Eliasson. “People are looking for an excuse to disconnect from their devices, re-connect with friends, make new friends, and get creative.”
Participants can bring their own coloring book, or choose one from Settembre’s library, and while they’re drawing, enjoy one of Settembre’s elegant and balanced wines, available by the glass, bottle (to take home,) or flight.
“Community is a huge part of why we do what we do,” said Eliasson. “Our adult coloring sessions, and the urban picnics, are a wonderful way to create connection and to get to know our customers. We want them to feel like our Tasting Room is a place to relax and have fun – an extension of their home.”
Settembre is a locally-owned and operated winery, creating balanced and unique wines in European style. Long-time Boulder residents Blake and Tracy Eliasson are committed to using 100% Colorado-grown grapes.
